Please provide a brief snapshot of your career at CBS Outdoor.
I have worked for CBS Outdoor since September 2007, in the role of GM, Business Operation.
My responsibility is not only to focus on the assets we own but to I also manage the daily working relationship and reporting channel to our JV partner on the board. I try to think of myself as a Captain on a vessel, holding my responsibility to guarantee the performance of the whole vessel for the benefit of our investors. To achieve this target, I need to provide an appropriate environment for all of my team (crew) member to perform at their best, but also align their direction on those key focus areas at the same time.
A twenty-one year veteran of media and advertising, I have a wealth of experience aquired at China of One Media Group in Beijing - publisher of Rolling Stone, Ming, Popular Science, Top Gear and T3 in China and a successful term as General Manager at China East Region of Beijing Top Result Public Transportation Advertising Co. Ltd - the largest business unit of the Company in terms of sales turnover.
What do you enjoy doing on the move?
In serving the media for people on the move, I always find myself to be one of the target audiences. I enjoy reviewing our results day by day on the road.
